The Den is a wonderful place. Our son has been going to the breakfast club and after schools for almost three years and he has loved every minute of time he's spent there.

We as parents know that our child is safe and entertained while we are at work- which is what we were looking for. The Den offers much, much more than that though.

I can not recommended The Den enough, I moved from another daycare and honestly the transition was brilliant, Kyla made sure everything was in place and we where happy with everything, my wee boy can be abit funny with a change in routine but I couldn't have went any better. Everyone is so friendly and I find it very personal. Knowing your child is happy and in a caring environment makes everything so much easier.

Kyla and her team have become part of our family, when our son is upset or worried about something, Kyla can get him to talk about it better even than we can sometimes. During lockdown Kyla and the team visited Sam (socially distanced etc) and arranged zoom calls so the kids could stay in touch and when Sam fell off his bike, Kyla brought him a card and sweets.

We went looking for childcare for a few hours per day but at The Den we found much much more.

I am so grateful for everything the team at the Den have done for my son, they really go above and beyond to ensure he is happy and well cared for, including linking in with the school to ensure care is consistent and takes into account his individual needs. The Den is his favourite place to be and he has really thrived there.

From my initial meeting with Kyla I knew I had found the perfect place to send my son who attends Hillcroft Special School


Kyla, Noel and The Den team accepted him with open arms and most importantly understood him

Every single day he was welcomed with enthusiasm and a big smile

From a parents perspective we were given so much support, that meant alot to us as a family


The Den is a special place that give us so many happy memories



My child has attended the Den for nearly 5 years. She absolutely loves it. She is comfortable and happy. The staff are amazing. Such a dedicated team.

My son was exposed to regular fun, caring, genuine and warm interactions


He had specific dietary needs, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate this


The Den facilities were also excellent, there was vast space for movement ,regulation and play


Summer days trips were a big hit with my son
